After 73 years, it was time to bid farewell to our house on the Via Bluffs in the Pacific Palisades. The cherished family member was built by my father in 1950. I was fortunate to have Laurie Hudson as my seller's agent. Although I was living in Northern California, I still imagined I possessed current and keen insight into the Pacific Palisades area and market. In fact, I was not as smart as I had believed. However, Laurie provided me with an updated and clear vision. She was a current Pacific Palisades resident and had built there, possessed several decades of experience, and maintained a broad variety of professional contacts.

We just purchased the house of our dreams. Actually, it was beyond our dreams. And I can unequivocally say that it was solely because of our realtor, Laurie Hudson.

We submitted a total of four bids, some ridiculously low, but each time Laurie was realistic but willing to push the limits. She showed us comparable properties that had sold to get us comfortable with the investment. And, finally, she encouraged us to make an offer on the house that we finally bought. She had done her homework and discovered that the buyer was very motivated. Laurie was fair to all parties in her negotiations.
